How many projects does the Premium and Ultimate licences cover?
Each licence cover ONE project only. If you want to use the same song for another project, you need to purchase another Premium or Ultimate licence, depending on the scope of your project.
How long is the licence valid for?
The licence has a lifetime validity. You can purchase the licence and use it later when you need it.
Can I use a song for multiple projects?
No, the usage is limited to ONE project only.
Can I use a free song for TV, radio, film, theatre or games?
No. The free songs are licensed for online use only, and do not cover TV, radio, film, theatre or games.
I’m a filmmaker and produce short films and theatre. What licence do I need?
You need to purchase an Ultimate Licence.
I’m a wedding videographer. What licence do I need?
You need to purchase a Premium licence.
I’m a games developer. What licence do I need?
You need to purchase an Ultimate Licence.
I’m a YouTuber and only post on YouTube. What licence do I need?
You can use any of the free songs for your YouTube projects, and you need to include the song credits in the video description. You can also purchase a Premium Licence, and no song credits are required.
Can I purchase now and use the song at a later date?
Yes, as both Premium and Ultimate licences are valid for lifetime.
Are the songs registered with YouTube Content ID?
At this stage, we do not use YouTube Content ID. However, this is subject to change, and you will be notified in advance.
I want to use a song in my project, but I need a customised version. How can I change it?
You can get in touch with us, and see what options we have for that particular song.
Can I use a song for commercial purposes?
Yes, as long as you purchased the correct licence.
